What is Mint credit card? Mint is a business name of The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and is registered in Scotland. Few years ago in 2003, Mint introduced the Mint credit card, which is offered in two different versions. The first version is a standard credit card like you normally get from other banks. The second version is called the MC2 card, which has the bottom right-hand corner removed. This is the first change to the shape of credit cards in the UK for 37 years. That’s a very long period of time! The benefits of the Mint credit card include 0% interest on balance transfers and purchases until 1st of December 2007. You also get up to £7,500 credit limit and online fraud protection for the card security. With the new CHIP and Pin feature, you get extra security as well.
There is also something called Mint Gift Cards, which is basically a pre-paid credit card that you can give as a gift. You can choose to give amounts from £10 to £250. But to give this gift to someone, you must be over 16 years old with a UK debit/credit card and a valid email address. A great gift if you aren’t sure what gift to get for someone!
