Mobile Web Portal

Not many people like to surf the net using their mobile phones even when mobile phones these days have the capability to do so with the built in mobile browser. This is because many sites are still not mobile friendly although the numbers are growing. Then comes Mobileplay, a mobile web portal that conversts existing web pages into phone-friendly format to make it easier to read using your mobile phones. Isn’t that great? You have to check out the mobile portal; they have contents from big players like AP, Salon.com, US News, the Washingon Post, Business Week, some popular blogs and many other sites. The good thing is, this whole service is completely free to use and it is compatible with any mobile phones. The interface is also very simple and easy to navigate.
There are some room for improvements though. Although users are able to share this site with their friends by notifying them via email, the site is not customisable. Different users might have different preferred sites (for example, some prefer other news sites) so adding this functionality might attract more mobile users. Nevertheless, Mobileplay serves its function very well and I really hope to be using more of their services with my mobile phone! Do check out the mobile portal!
