Most Comments on a Blog World Record
Published April 10th, 2007 in Special.
Guess what? This blog has just won the award for the most comments ever! Just kidding! You didn’t fall into that, did you? Well, there is a blog that is trying to break this world record, by having the largest blog comment chain in the world. Who and which blog is trying to do that? It’s none other than the blog by PayPerPost, a company specialising in blog advertising. It is really interesting to see companies like PayPerPost trying to break this world record, which was never been attempted before! It was said that the most comments ever seen on a single blog is about 350 comments (that’s really a lot!) and therefore, PayPerPost are aiming for 2,000 “unique human generated comments”.
In order to qualify for the world record, each comment must consist of 25 words or more, generated within 1 week of the original post. Well, I think this is reasonable; otherwise, everyone would just say one word or two as a comment for this world record to be broken. Apart from that, the author of the post must not comment or contribute more than ten percent of the total comments posted. This is really interesting and I really wanna see how far it can go. So far, there are about 47 comments (at the time of writing), so do you think they can make it?
